Coated Knife Edge Right Angle Prism / KRPB4
The knife edge prism with a sharp, polished, right-angled ridge line sandwiched between its two bottom faces, which has been coated with aluminum for total internal reflection. As the ridge line has not been chamfered, when viewed from an oblique angle, the line of the right-angled ridge appears very thin, enabling one to observe a seamless, natural reflection image.
The right-angled ridge has a very narrow width and a straight line shape, making it suitable for use as a reference line in an observation system.It can be used with light or divergent light that has an incident angle wider than ±5.7 degrees to the slope, making it suitable for observation systems with a wide field of view.
